Stamatis Diavatidis, born in Athens in 1972, is the Co-Founder and CEO of farmAIr, an AgTech company focused on Plant Stress Management, particularly in the early and accurate detection of biotic and abiotic plant stress. With a strong background in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets, Stamatis has over 25 years of experience in C-level positions across various industries, including FinTech, BioTech, Shipping, and Media. In 2020, he entered the AgTech sector, co-founding farmAIr to contribute to sustainable agriculture by balancing global food security with environmental stewardship amid the climate crisis.
Under Stamatis's leadership, farmAIr has gained significant recognition, becoming an alumnus of prestigious acceleration programs such as Plug and Play’s AgTech Batch 6 and EIT Food Seedbed 2023. The company has won multiple awards, including top honors at Bayer's LifeHub BCN demo day and the GreenTech Challenge.
