Nathaniel Gogoe
Nathaniel Foli Gogoe serves as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at the African Youth Network for Agricultural Technology (AYNAT) in Ghana, a role he has held since October 2023. With a robust background in agronomy and agricultural science, Nathaniel is dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and environmental stewardship. Currently pursuing an MPhil in Agronomy at the University of Ghana, Legon, Nathaniel previously earned a BSc in Agriculture with a specialization in Crop Science from the same institution. At AYNAT, he leads initiatives such as tree monitoring, beach clean-ups, and training programs on mapping systems and conservation agriculture. He is also focused on empowering women in agricultural technology through comprehensive training programs. Before becoming COO, Nathaniel was AYNAT's Field Operations Team Lead, organizing tree planting sessions and webinars on digital analysis and AI in digital marketing. His professional background includes national service with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) and roles in various agricultural projects with organizations like GIZ and Transroyal Ghana Limited. Nathaniel values teamwork and hard work, believing in the power of collaboration to achieve progress. He is particularly excited about AYNAT's upcoming projects that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to support women and other individuals in Ghana's farming communities. These initiatives aim to integrate AI into agricultural practices, enhancing productivity, sustainability, and resilience, and providing farmers with the tools to improve their operations and livelihoods.
